Wedding FAQ

Is a deposit required to hold my wedding date?
Yes, a $500.00 deposit is required to reserve your date with our studio, and will be deducted from your purchase. This deposit is non-refundable.
How long has Christopher Norris Photography been in business?
We have been making memories at Cleveland weddings for over thirty years.
How many pictures will be taken at my wedding from which we can choose?
Unlimited, and using our "Album Customizer," you'll select as many images as you want to ensure every special request is photographed.
Are Black & White prints available?
Yes, you can order any print in Black & White or in color.
Where is the best place for outdoor portraits?
Our exclusive "outdoor" studio featuring two acres of planned, beautifully landscaped settings is just steps away from our indoor studio. Included on our private grounds are a small lake and waterfall, a kissing bridge, a swing, two gazebos, and much more.
What if the weather doesn't cooperate on our wedding day?
Our indoor studio accommodates up to 40 individuals and is an ideal alternative. Our studio features scores of hand-painted backdrops, special lighting and different settings including a 13' round top window for romantic natural lighting.
How many different print sizes are offered for my album?
We offer five different print sizes;
Postcard Size - 4x5"
Cameo Size - 5x7"
Standard Size - 8x10"
Feature Size - Full page without a matting
Panorama - Two full facing pages
How soon can we see our pictures and design our album?
The images from your wedding will be ready for you to view by the time you return from your honeymoon. Designing your album with our Virtual Album Computer is the most exciting part of our service. You can actually see your finished album on the screen before you order it. You can change image sizes, shapes, mats and colors instantly. We will assist you in designing your dream wedding album.

Portrait FAQ

What type of clothing should we wear in our pictures?
Creating a perfect portrait takes a little planning. Fine portraiture captures facial expressions and mood, while clothing, accessories, and props are secondary and
shouldn't create any distractions.
         * Avoid using busy patterns and bright colors.
         * Light colors are best with light backgrounds and fair complexions.
         * Darker colors look better with deep backgrounds and dark hair or complexions.
         * Shoes and socks should be in key.
         * Everyone in the picture should be dressed in coordinating or same colors.
         * Simple necklines work best.
How many people can we have in our group?
Our indoor studio can accommodate up to forty people. We can also do larger groups "on location" for an additional fee.
Can we bring the family pet?
Yes, including a special family pet makes an even more unique portrait. We've photographed many dogs cats and even horses.
Can we have pictures taken indoors and outdoors?
Yes, at Christopher Norris Photography you can have both. We have over two acres of landscaped scenes including a lake and waterfall, gazebos, old fashioned swing, brick walkways and flowers.

How soon can I see the results?
Our previews are electronic and usually ready to view within a few days after the session.
Does Christopher Norris Photography offer framing?
Yes, we have a wide variety of custom frames to enhance your beautiful portrait.
Do you offer Christmas or holiday cards?
Yes, we have a wide variety of beautiful cards to choose from.
What is the largest size portrait that can be made?
The largest print that we make is our "Cathedral Ceiling Size." It's dimension is 40x60.
Our most popular wall portrait size is our "Fireplace Size" which is 30x40.
